About Our Toddler program

What are we covering in the Two year old Classroom

Our Two-Year-Old Classroom is designed to support and foster the developmental milestones that are crucial at this stage of growth. At this age, children are beginning to explore their independence and develop essential social skills. Our program emphasizes hands-on learning and interactive activities that promote self-confidence and social interaction in a safe and nurturing environment.

Developmentally Appropriate Learning Points:

  • Promoting Independence: At this stage, children are encouraged to do things on their own, such as feeding themselves, putting on their shoes, and making simple choices. Our activities are designed to support these growing skills, helping children feel proud of their accomplishments and develop a sense of autonomy.

  • Social Skills Development: We focus on helping children learn to share, take turns, and engage in simple group activities. Through guided play and structured routines, children practice communication, express their feelings, and begin to understand the importance of empathy and cooperation with peers.

  • Cognitive and Language Skills: Activities like storytelling, singing, and simple puzzles stimulate cognitive growth, helping children expand their vocabulary and understanding of the world around them. We use songs, rhymes, and interactive books to foster language development in a fun and engaging way.

  • Motor Skills: Fine and gross motor development is supported through activities such as stacking blocks, drawing with crayons, and climbing on playground equipment, helping children develop coordination, strength, and confidence in their physical abilities.

Our Two-Year-Old Classroom is a place where children can begin to build the foundations for independence and social interaction, laying the groundwork for future success in both school and life.
